simplenews bounce, i give up

I have spent some time installing a configuring the simplenews bounce module.  It does say up front that it's experimental, so can't be mad at anyone but myself here.  However,  I am giving up.

1) I am using mime-mail, since I am sending html email, so I had to patch that to that my return-to path was set

2) Script was written for sendmail, and I am using postfix.  While I did get the emails that were sent out to bounce back to the proper email address, and to get postfix to pipe the email to this perl script, the headers that I needed (the email address for the original recipient ) were not available. 

At this point, I am going to manually manage the bounces and stay tuned to the simple_news module.
