I am such a loser.  Someone sent me a personal email and asked how I was doing.  Just like any good software engineer, I thought I would achieve some re-use by posting my response on my website..

I am doing okay, no heart attacks, cancer, divorce or anything like that.

My son and stepson are both sophomores at University of Pittsburgh...

Still trying to make it!  Kind of sad, how many 12hr days I still put in trying to get some new business going.  Oh well, I guess you only lose when you quit trying. 

I am working fulltime as a Senior Software Engineer.  I regularly have to work 50+ hour weeks since I am only java/unix guy here.  That's the only thing that sucks right now.  The main app I wrote along handles 100k+ requests hour for 6 different websites and I only hear from others when it's broken;)  Such is software engineering.
